This just in: Becoming a cord-cutter doesn’t mean you have to miss out on watching live news networks like Fox News. While cord-cutting began with on-demand streaming services like Netflix, the trend was a little slower in tackling the news. Cord-cutters made do with online news services or over-the-air local news broadcasts while avoiding costly cable and satellite services. Thankfully for fans of Fox News and other cable news networks, those days are over. It's now possible to watch cable news without cable. Read on to get the full scoop!

How to Watch Fox News Online Without Cable

Although it’s a cable news channel, Fox News is available through livestream providers. The primary difference is that you don’t have to sign a contract or deal with setting an installation appointment to watch “Fox News Primetime.” Live TV streaming services offer month-to-month subscriptions and deliver (or stream) online. The good news: There are no installation appointments or fees. Not every livestream service provides live news, but don’t worry; we got the insider on the ones that do. Here are all the streaming services that offer Fox News:

Can I Watch Fox News on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, or Chromecast?

More to Stream for Fox News Fans

Fox News is a member of the Big 3 cable networks, along with CNN and MSNBC. CNN, the first 24-hour news network, is generally seen as more centrist. Fox News tends to have a right-leaning perspective, while MSNBC has a reputation for leaning left. No matter which cable news channel you prefer, the best part is that you no longer need cable for any of them.

Not many people can leave their TV on all day, yet still want a rundown on what’s happening. One option is “60 Minutes.” True to its name, you get in-depth information on various issues, from entertainment to politics, all in one hour.

DirecTV Now is only on Amazon Fire Stick and not on Roku so be aware of that.

Fox News clips are of that day but are a far cry from live coverage, and in my opinion not worth it. Also one of the problems I had with PlayStation Vue and DirecTV Now is the price of 35$ or more is only for 2 TVs, so be aware of that too.

I’m a Fox New junkie, and because the deals are still limited when it comes to Fox, I chose to stick with DirecTV’s $50 package until it gets better, because for now, it’s just not worth it IMO.

With PlayStation Vue you can watch up to a total of 5 devices at once, not 2. 1 – PS3, 1 PS4, 3 additional devices (iOS, Android).

      1. Mary Pfeiffer says:

Playstation Bue is discontinued Jan 30, 2020

Fox is a news provider for people who want the truth. Fox should stream with fulu or roku, if not for free or a reduction in price.you see people are barely getting by and those less fortunate then others people still want a good, honest and truthful news service !!!
          Thank you

        2. Jeanette says:

Fox News is on sling tv for $30 a month. Which is a pretty reasonable option. It’s the sling blue package. Hope this helps.

          1. Joan B says:

That’s the first time I’ve heard FN is on Sling. Thanks!

          2. CHRIS says:

SLING SUCKS !!! horrible platform it cuts off each show at the end , you have to restart the next show so you miss stuff the commercials are effing dumb !! and the video quality is piss poor !!! NOT WORTH IT !!!!

          3. Evie says:

i couldn’t get it on sling. I’m going to try a more powerful antenna.

          4. M Zapp says:

Sling prices have increased, blue package went up, it’s not worth it…sometimes you cannot see anything, and especially I’ve noticed that when Fox news popular shows are on, they cut off and you can’t see it, you have to keep refreshing the browser. I’m trying to log in now and it says: “looks like unexpected error occurred” this happens more often then not. It’s hit and miss when trying to stream with Sling TV.

Try Newmax or OAN both available for free on Roku TV

    2. Cindy says:

DirectTV Now has been on Roku as long as i’ve had a Roku – which is well over a year – closer to 2 years.

    3. Hy says:

Not true I have direct tv now on roku

      1. Kimberly says:

The original post was from 2017. Since that time many things have changed.

    4. Jack says:

Definitely not worth it now that the ROKU version is AT&T at $60. Most of the features are Beta quality and getting no better. The practice of letting the consumer debug your software is cost-effective but borderline unethical. I just quit my subscription and will look elsewhere for FNS and CSPAN.

      1. Shannon says:

Hello there. What have you found? I am new to the search and found your response.

    5. Tom says:

I currently have access to FNC and FBC through Spectrum, using a “skinny choice” option, for $23 a month. For that fee (and a nominal internet connection), I have all my locals plus 10 (selected by me) cable channels.

      1. Gray says:

        Hey Tom
I have Spectrum internet also. What service are you going through for the $23 mth to receive Live FNC? Hulu ??

        Thanks Gray

        1. Deri3481 says:

Spectrum TV choice is a service by Spectrum where you get all the local channels and music choice channels you choose the 10 cable channels you wish to keep.

          1. John says:

That’s only a introduction price 😡after a year it goes to 35.00 a month and then the internet goes to 79.99 and then up every year

      2. Tyler T. says:

Thank you for the info. Are their channels Hi Definition (1080p)?

      3. Cheri says:

We can ONLY have Comcast in my area. I just checked the price to add on Live TV to my Hulu and it’s like $54! Why wouldn’t I just increase my cable bill? The facts are, when you don’t have the money, you’re stuck watching clips through the Fox News App. But I have got by for 2 years this way. It’s not impossible. Really important Live programs on Fox are free while the Live event is nationwide, so the big VIPs aren’t missed. Still though, there has to be a way to beat this doggone Cable rip off!! I loved the comment about the Democrat junk news being free while the good news costs a bunch. Just goes to show how valuable Real News is! Fake news is free for a reason folks.

        1. Ran Lydell says:

          SO REIGHT !

        2. Karen says:

I agree with you. I have Roku and today is my first day without Fox News live. I cut the Comcast cable and opted for the internet only thinking it would be easy to get the only 2 channels I really watch-HGTV & Fox News.

          1. Anonymous says:

If you have internet on your fire stick you can find it . Just search for it we watch all the time

          2. Pam says:

Those are the same 2 stations I watch on Spectrum (Fox News and HGTV) and very little of the others. Checked the other options and they aren’t cheaper but twice as high than what Spectrum is charging! So wish they would cater to us better. A lot of TV is not worth watching but is junk tv. I mostly want unfake news and wholesome other channels. Very hard to come by it seems.

          3. Kathleen says:

I have been watching clips of FNC on a ROKU app for almost three years. Well tonight that ended. My “free trial is over” appeared on several clips. Now I have to decide about paying for Hulu. 🙁

        3. Vickie says:

You have got a real good point here. This is unfortunate and something should be done about it.

          1. Elle says:

I agree that live FoxNews IS there – poke about in your streaming aps hdmi options – it’s there and free. If you like, buy Fox Nation or a paid subscription but I am getting the live things via FireTV built-in on my HDTV, and then I just go to foxnews.com for better overviews with videos and links to commentary etc… Cord-free1!!! Wheeee!!!

        5. Anonymous says:

          Yep!

      4. Anonymous says:

thanks. I had not heard about skinny choice.

      5. Joey says:

Appears that the “skinny option” put on some weight . I just checked their plans and the cheapest is $44.99 w/ 12 month contract.

      3. Carl says:

Thanks Jim. This works great. I didn’t join or pay anything and there it was along with many other channels. So far only HBO asked for a membership but I never found HBO had much of anything good.

    8. Brandi Stocks says:

Do you have any updates? I thought subscribing to fox nation would be all I needed, but there’s still content I can’t access with that subscription. Thanks

    9. Victor says:

I’m sticking with Newsmax, it is free and contains good information, better than the other nrtworks

    10. Fox watcher says:

You can get Fox News on Sling for $35.00 a month

      1. mark says:

I subscribed to Sling exclusively to watch Tucker Carlson and even though I had TC prerecorded, it would usually take me about five minutes to find the latest episode. Hard to describe but it seemed like Sling was doing this deliberately. After months of screwing around, I got rid of my subscription for this reason. I subscribe to Fox Nation, but you have to wait a day to see prime time shows. So I now get the same runaround trying to watch Tucker on youtube but at least I’m not paying for it. If I could spend 30-40 a month to watch Tucker reliably I’d gladly pay.

    11. Christine Goran says:

Do you have an update on this comment of yours?

  2. Frank Hagan says:

There is an official Fox News and Fox Business News channel on the Roku. They include clips of the shows. As an example, the hard news show “Special Report” will be represented on the Fox News Roku channel with four or five of the reports from their correspondents, along with one or two segments of the roundtable discussion featuring journalists or pundits like Mara Liason from PBS, columnist Charles Krauthammer, Julie Pace from the AP, etc. I actually wouldn’t go back to watching the full shows (I used to DVR them and skip all but what the Roku channel is showing anyway.)

    1. Staci says:

How is this cutting the cord when you’re representing a new cord with a price sticker? I have four tv stations and one is local news with democrat CBS news shows. How pathetic that ROKU has all sorts of FREE democrat news stations, but you can’t get one free conservative news.

      1. aj says:

You need to discover and support Newsmax. It is becoming the new Fox !

        1. Anonymous says:

Watch OAN on klowdTV for 2.50 a month on Roku. Just got this. I went to Klowdtv website to sign up. Its much better than foxnews that seems to be getting worse at not telling all there is to know. I do have FoxNation too.

        2. MrT says:

Thank you! Hadn’t heard of it.

        3. Dan says:

          Not yet!

        4. JJ says:

I agree, Newsmax is getting better. Still needs to get some of the kinks out. Fox News is turning into Fake News and seems to only hire liberals.

        5. Anonymous says:

          I love Fox Nation.

          1. Joe says:

You can get Fox News live on YouTube if you search on jujubot. Then when jujubot comes up, look at the various boxes that come up until you get to live stream. Then you will get Fox News live streaming as well, at least for the evening shows.

        6. Real News Junkie says:

Also One America News (OANN) ($4.99 via Amazon subscription) and American’s Voice TV (Free). They both have FireTV apps too.

          1. Dan says:

Thank you above for sharing about Jujubot on YouTube to watch Fox News live. But Fox is another MSM and also have a narrative. I love OANN! Conservative news for sure! I watch Sky News clips on Youtube. Sky News is an Aussie news source, but report on US all the time.

          2. vic says:

OANN is $2.50 a month on the KlowdTV app. This includes other stations also. InfoWars, Newsmax, First America, France & European news, movies, music and more. I enjoy it.

  3. Jason says:

You can watch O’Reilly Factor a day later on You Tube.

  4. Mark Douglas Morgan says:

Sky UK never gave their customers the slightest hint that they had axed Fox News. Rupert Murdock, the “walking dead”, got jealous of the growing numbers viewing and supporting Trump.

    1. Max says:

Yeah, Mark, agree with you, if you find how to receive Fox News, give us a shout.

      1. Fosti says:

Me too. If it were not that hubby likes Fox News, I’d cut all cable today! If you figure out how to watch Fox live, I’d love to know. Thanks.

        1. Bob Aberini says:

I watch it on MOBDRO. Depending on your internet speed, you will get some buffering, but it’s decent most of the time.

      2. Russell says:

you all could just go to walmart buy an inexpensive indoor antenna and be done with that I have Roku and an indoor antenna and all is good.

        1. Sigmaform says:

The inside /outside antenna setups even with the amplifiers “Do Not” work hardly at all unless your close to a fairly good size city.

But their are many other ways around all of this “Streaming Online” with a VPN. And yes their are a few good free VPN extensions for browsers which are fine for streaming online Tv shows & Movies. But again that is all I would use a free VPN for and research them 1st too.

But I would never “Download Any, Movies or Tv Shows” ever!

Just do some searches on the above you will find way more than you will ever need to watch. Some may have commercials many have none though.

I also would say use AD Blocker Plus, and if you get messages telling you to turn if off to view the content. Research “Tampermonkey” that or other apps will take care of that also.

I’m not going to go into trying to explain all of this for it is something anyone can read and figure it out. This is not hard to research and figure it out.

          Have fun ..

I want to watch all of fox news live programing, as cheaply as possible. I do have Roku. I watch Fox News on UTube free, but it’s a delayed programming. I want to watch programs live, as it happens. What is the best way to do this, and the official name of the App? Thank you.

      1. Deborah Adams says:

We watch Fox News Live with Utube streaming service

  5. Jim Wedell says:

I’m more interested in watching conservative news (plural) stations without paying at the same time for liberal decay. When this is possible I am all in.

    1. Beth p. says:

All I want is one channel and not gonna Pay $40 for it. ☹️

      1. Dorothy Clemmer says:

I’m totally with you. Comcast now has Fox News in a more premium package. Looks like I’ve lost the only channel I like. Not paying an extra $30 per month to get it back.😣

      2. Linda kerlin says:

Can I get foxnation.com with comcast

        1. Stephen Lovely says:

No, you’ll need a separate subscription.

        2. Billy says:

Not sure if your Comcast is Xfinity, but mine is, and I have the Internet +10 channels package. I can get Foxnation as an add-on channel for $5.99/month. I wish I could get FoxNews for the same price but, unfortunately, I can’t.

        3. Victor says:

I think you can watch it in Roku for free

      3. ofannod says:

Yeah, we should be able to subscribe to just the channel or channels we want without subsidizing a bunch of hooey we don’t want. Let the people who want to watch those other channels pay for them. I’m sick of picking up someone else’s tab. I cut the cord for a reason; now it will cost me almost as much as my basic cable/DirecTV to stream just one channel that I want. So I abstain and suffer till I can get what I want.

    2. suzann says:

      AMEN, Jim Wendell !

  6. Linda Wrobel says:

      No, you can’t, unfortunately.

      1. Chris says:

Here’s a trick I learned to watch fox news live If you don’t have cable, but fox nation.
On Roku remove the fox nation app. Reinstall it, log back in, and you get to watch live news for 59 minutes.
Repeat and you will always get to watch fox news live for 59 minutes.
It’s worth the 2 minutes it takes to do these steps instead of paying for cable, or hulu, etc. Fox Nation cost’s like 5.99 a month.
        You’re welcome.

  7. K LaCoss says:

No Fox News, no news at all! CNN – fake news! Only one truth – Fox News! Until the availability of Fox News without either cable or satellite we’re stuck with the bill!

    1. Fosti says:

Yup, we only have it for hubby. He says I can cut it all to save us some money but he enjoys it. I despise it all.

  8. jimini says:

YouTube usually has Fox News live on one or more of the channels all day on Roku. After you have watched it a couple of times it should show up on recommended.

    1. Steve says:

Great solution. You’re a genius. Thanks.

      1. Brad says:

Fox Nation app has Fox News Live. $5.99 a month or $64 a year. It’s they cheapest legal way to get FN live along with a bunch of other programming and most of Fox’s programs VOD. The app is available on Fire TV, Roku, etc.

        1. Moxie90404 says:

Thank you so much! I just signed up!

        2. Anonymous says:

Does fox nation subscription include the live stream for Fox News and fox business? Thanks

          1. Stephen Lovely says:

No, Fox Nation is a separate thing. It has its own original shows and content. To get Fox News and Fox Business, you have to subscribe to a bundle with multiple channels — cable, satellite, or a streaming service with live channels like Hulu + Live TV. Hope this helps!

    2. Judy says:

How does this work… I’m just diving into this. Presently, we receive the highlights of the shows. I recently saw Hannity offering a years stand alone streaming for $65.00/year or $5.50/month. Do you know of this?

  9. Jonathan P. Oyen says:

In Korea, I’m able to watch Fox News on my big screen by Chromecasting it from a live feed via YouTube. When I discovered that, my life was made whole.

    1. Gaia Purpura says:

I have just bought a Roku Smart TV. How can I get Fox News by
Chromecasting from a live feed via YouTube? I am 89 years old and
am ignorant of all technology.. If you can help me to get Fox News
I will be very grateful ..

      1. Stephen Lovely says:

With a Roku Smart TV, you can skip the Chromecast and watch Fox News live with one of the apps on the list in this article! There is also a YouTube app for Roku.

        1. Rita Miller says:

Can you tell me which App?

          1. Stephen Lovely says:

any of the apps listed in the article above will work! Which one you choose is up to you.

      2. Stacy says:

You need to either purchase a chromestick, roku, fire stick, fire tv, Apple tv, and others (all can be purchased either online at Amazon or in stores/online at retailers like walmart, target, best buy and so forth) and then hook it up to your tv (Where your HDMI plug(s) go). Unfortunately, if you want “live” fox news you have to pay either through cable/satellite, Hulu live, YouTube live, fubo tv, or AT&T live (as mentioned above). In order to use the devices mentioned above you need reliable internet services. You need to evaluate the cost cable charges for the tv channels/package you like (such as Fox news) to the cost of the live streaming options. Keep in mind you have to pay for your internet, and cable usually charges more for internet if you do not bundle it with your tv. The roku and other devices are relatively inexpensive, ranging from $25 or more. I believe all of the streaming services charge from $50 to $60 a month, and that price includes Fox news (as mentioned above). Again, you need to see how much you pay cable/satellite for your package (or the amount needed to have Fox news), including all of the fees, find out what your internet pricing would be without the tv bundle and then add that to the price of streaming. Most of the time it is cheaper to use the streaming service, and as mentioned above in the article they usually offer a free trial.

        1. jan says:

We just signed up for Vidgo $45 a mo., with a $5 credit for the first 90 days, so $40 a mo. We can watch Fox News, Fox Business, Animal Planet, Paramount (Yellowstone series), CMT, History and a bunch of other channels we like to watch, 60 total, I think.
We had Fubo TV and it was okay but price kept going up to finally $65 a mo., getting to pricey for us. Plus Fubo recording never worked right for us.
So now with Vidgo at $40 a mo., with just as many good channel but no recording option. We are fine with that, we never went back and watched anything we could record on Fubo, so save the $25 a mo.
          Hope this review helps, 🙂

How to watch live TV on Roku?

    1. Cordcutting.com says:

You might want to check out this piece.

  11. Anita says:

How can I watch live shows on Roku?

    1. Alan says:

You will need to subscribe to one of OTT services, i.e. Sling TV, Hulu, YouTube TV, etc.

  12. Lulu says:

With DirectTV Now you can only watch on two devices. NOT GOOD. You should not be limited to how many devices you can watch this on.

  13. Joan DeCandia says:

Just ditched DirecTV after almost two months of their failure to provide a local channel as per contract. Looking for ways to get live Fox News, PBS and WWE.

  14. Doug says:

Geeze, price fix much providers? When you want to compete for my business, and offer à la carte content, let me know.

  15. Russell Boersma Sr. says:

Why can’t we get Fox News without paying money? We are seniors living on soc. sec. only, and have Roku as we can’t afford regular TV. Is this some kind of a conspiracy to keep us from watching Fox News? I guess you have to pay to watch our conservative values. Instead of the propaganda of Fake News!

    1. Bort says:

Have you tried going back in time and not voting Republican? Geez, get a job, you freeloader.

      1. Edward says:

No class Bort… They could be in their 80s… Going out and getting a job at that age isn’t easy, idiot.

      2. gkidsnola says:

I’m not a freeloader. I have worked since I was 16 and now 70. I have over paid for the meager amount I get as social security. If the government hadn’t stolen from social security there wouldn’t be a deficit and those who have worked hard all their life would not have to worry about their social security. I don’t know how old you are – but the hard realty will hit you when you’re ready for retirement = better have a 401k or plan on working until you can’t anymore.

      3. Sigrid says:

You are a rude SOB, know nothing about the people, who you call freeloaders. That is probably what you are. Still living with mom and dad as a freeloader?

      4. Sueb says:

Wow! Way to go, talking to our senior citizens that way. Out are a class A jerk!

      5. Lucy says:

They are senior citizens past the age of being hired for much. Don’t buy into the sarcastic haters. Try compassion, you will feel better all around.

      6. Joy says:

Time is ticking away for you as well and you’ll reap what you sow. Perhaps stop insulting people who have TELEVISION questions.

      7. Kimberly says:

Senior citizens are NOT freeloaders. Seniors who have worked hard their entire life are not freeloaders. Just because they happen to be conservatives does NOT give you or anyone the right to degrade them. If you live long enough , then perhaps you will then learn what it means to scrimp & save as much as possible because your income has been decreased. Elderly folks are often not able to keep working due to health reasons and WE all will become elderly one day , if we keep living. You should check yourself and be more kind to older Ameticans.

        1. David says:

          Ditto

      8. Joe Moriarty says:

Bort, Freeloaders are typically Liberal (Democrats) who cash in on the misnamed Entitlement programs. You know, those who feel you owe them free things. A retiree has for a long time paid into the system that actually entitles them to some benefits they have earned. When you earn something you are entitled to it.

        1. Anonymous says:

    2. Ryan Riviere says:

Spot on my friend, the liberal media runs everything and it is a conspiracy, Fox News is the only channel that dares to be honest and go against the false narrative and identity politics of the left …….. therefore the liberals in control over what’s included in the bundles make sure Fox News is not available because they don’t want people hearing our side of things

    3. Gaia Purpura says:

Did you get an answer to how we can get Fox News? I am 89 years old
and miss it a lot. I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.

    4. just2oldppl says:

Same here Dish is over $100 a month and we cannot afford it on Social Security anymore. State of Illinois raises our taxes, raises our deductibles on our insurance on each part of it where we are paying anywhere $25,000 to $35,000 out of pocket for drugs, medical, dental and insurance premiums. We are barely living in between our monthly checks. Good thing our house is paid for or Priztker would have it.

  16. Barry Putnam says:

Hello. Are there any free Android apps that might run on a Zeki streaming device? I actually have one of those & have a Chromecast Plus as well. Thanks!

  17. MM says:

    Russell Boersma Sr.
You can get Newsmax TV free conservative news, not fake news, on Roku also. I watch Fox News, just not able to get the live streaming.

  18. Upgrade Fox says:

Fox News is way behind the curve when it comes to LIVE streaming.
CBS has CBSN, free, live, no subscriptions/paywalls.

    1. gene says:

I watched it on the cruise and it is very limited repeating the same stuff over and over. When you tune out the climate stuff and the political commentary there was not much left

      1. Jack says:

ONE AMERICA NEWS has a streaming subscription via ROKU for a few bucks/month….They are the new fair and balanced news source.

  19. Sharon Rudd says:

Anyone know how I can watch Fox News live through YouTube in a full size screen mode instead of the picture being in 3 different ones on the screen?

    1. Helen Bednarczyk says:

I live stream Fox News and Fox Business News (my favorite!). Can’t beat Lou Dobbs and Stuart Varney.

      1. Deanna Harris says:

Helen Bednarcyzk, please tell me how. These are my husband’s favorites. Want to get rid of cable, but keep Fox Business.

      2. Sharlene Baker says:

Would love to know how you do this. My husband likes Fox News and Fox Businees live streaming and we have cut the cord.

  20. Sigrid Egan says:

We have had a Roku streamer for almost 7 years now. I wonder if we need a new, more updated device. There is a lot available on Roku streaming, however, live shows/programs/news, etc. are not one of them. My question: Do I need to subscribe to YouTube? I am already able to get it, but I think the same problem is there. It is all delayed stuff. Also, we have only internet and Wi-Fi through Cox, but I have the impression that Cox can interfere with my streaming, making the loading slow and reloading, when watching movies or delayed news. Any thought on that? Thank you!

  21. James Sullivan says:

PS Vue just announced a fee increase for the end of July 2018. Going from 39.99 to 44.99. I currently use it, but there are issues I feel need to be worked out before you start to increase the monthly charge. For example, some shows they are not allowed to stream live. Roku will lock up from time to time. If you don’t watch shows in your cloud DVR within a couple of weeks they force to to stream them with commercials you can’t skip. Also, they updated the video viewer for PC watching and it buffers about every 3 seconds. Worked just fine before they updated. All of these providers have pros and cons but they are far from perfect.

    1. Thomas N Benaway says:

I have Roku HD and have been streaming movies and tv shows for a few months now and have no problem with locking or buffering. Either through the Roku channel or Hulu. I have 60 MB speeds.

  22. Eloise Mulvihill says:

I just want Fox News, National Geographic, and maybe Discovery and HGTV. How can I get this with out paying cable?

    1. Cordcutting.com says:

For example, DirecTV Now and PlayStation Vue offer all of those channels.

  23. Rosanne Mayo says:

I want to leave a comment for Mr. Bort above, who called a little old couple “freeloaders” and instructed them to vote Democrat!

Mr. Bort, I am also 70 years old and I understand a whole lot more than your peanut brain can comprehend. First of all, retired seniors use to supplement their social security or retirement income with part-time jobs. However, since the Demorats kept the borders open and invited the rest of the world to come on in and take our jobs, that’s precisely what has happened. There are NO part-time jobs for the elderly anymore because of 50 MILLION illegals now living in the United STates and sucking up our part-time AND full-time jobs, not to mention the BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars spent on educating their children and handing out food stamps and free medical care to every anchor baby they spit out, money that could have gone to shoring up our failing social security system. I hate to tell you Mr. Bort, but YOU are going to be in even much worse shape than the “freeloaders” you so carelessly labeled, because by the time you get to your retirement, there won’t be any social security, and then we’re going to laugh our heads off at you from the grave!!! Vote Democrat INDEED! Those the devils that have destroyed our nation with evil and communism, the likes of which you will experience more painfully in the future than you can ever imagine in your wildest dreams in the present.

Go back and stick your head back in the pumpkin that you pulled it out of to comment on this site.

    1. Sid b says:

Rosanne Mayo, completely agree, that was an awesome comment! Good luck & take care.

I am shutting down my DTV in one week and will take advantage of the 1 week free on Sling Blue. We only watch Fox News, Fox Business, History Channel and National Geographic which Sling Blue offers for $25 per month. I just bought 2 firetivsticks at Best Buy for $80 and purchased 2 antennas for over the air local network. Although you need to spend $50+ per month for internet and $25 Sling Blue I will still save $100 per month. I’ll update after my experiment

    1. gene` says:

I just looked at Sling Blue channel options and it did not have Fox News Channel in their offering. It had all the liberal ones but not Fox.

      1. Richard says:

Gene, Fox News is now available on Sling Blue for $30/month

  25. Jon says:

I’m in Germany and hulu doesn’t work is there any solution for me to watch foxnews?

  26. Gonzo Pants says:

I have Roku and a Buisness internet subscription with Spectra (Charter Communications) however, my provider will not allow access to Fox Network News unless I have a t.v. subscription.
    Is this legal?

  27. Joni Pennington says:

Just cut the cable, bought fox nation, thought it would include fox news, BUMMED OUT. I WANT MY FOX NEWS!!! We are on disability and trying to live within those meager means. I really miss my FOX NEWS line up.

  28. Dave Joson says:

Fox News needs to be broadcast on over the air free broadcast TV Commercials will pay for it.

  29. Rober says:

    Cost is more than cable

    Why would i do this?

    1. Diane Jeffcoat says:

Excellent comment. Totally agree. The heads of the Democrat Party feed off their idea that their constituents are illiterate. The shame here is that about 50% ARE!!! But about 40% of that 50% are ignorant of the Truth because they’ve listened to the propaganda machine from the time they were young and never questioned it bc they thought the Democrats really cared for them. The ill states, on the other hand, are so bc the Democrats have deliberately kept them in a vacuum of bad school systems that teach social ideology over Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. The party heads have kept economic factors that force the impoverished to remain victims of government handouts and force more into the system each day. This is all done in order that they can be The Savior of the Poor and Needy….selling themselves as Warriors of the forlorn while simply using the guise for their own power play. Their hate for Trump is fueled by the fact that he’s cleaning house and revealing the lies and aristocracy of the so-called Washington Deep State. He’s not their for a power play. He’s truly representing and working for ‘We Tge People’ and that’s why they’re so desperate to shut him down.

  32. Steve Sybesma says:

I don’t do bundles, skinny or otherwise.

I’ll wait until can pay for the channel as a standalone. $5 a month seems reasonable since I have to watch their commercials too.

  33. Joseph says:

Have cut cable and have FireSticks, love PlutoTV and BlumebergNews. ALL IS FREE. Fox News has become TOXIC. Only about 30% is watchable anymore due to neverTrumpers showing up and getting to make up their own versions of reality. I still like a few programs but unwilling to package for a failing channel.

    1. Bob says:

Ir you watch Blumeberg news and you are calling Fox News “toxic”; I think it’s clear where you’re coming from (another liberal attempting to appear conservative).

      1. Jack says:

Try ONE AMERICA NEWS….available as a $6/month app. The new Fair and Balanced news network.

  34. Michael R Mathias Jr. says:

I just installed Sling, and now have learned there is NO FOX NEWS on Sling and the $$ I pay Sling will not allow me to use FOxNews App like a different streaming service would. I wont be able to watch FoxNews anymore.anymore.

    1. patti j mosley says:

I’m not sure but I think you need sling blue to get Fox News at $25 a month package

  35. J. McDowell says:

I was getting WACH Fox with an antenna attached to my TV until a few days ago. Now I get a message that there is no signal. WHAT HAPPENED??? Thank you.

    1. Stephen Lovely says:

You might want to try moving the antenna or re-scanning for channels. Short of that, maybe you need a bigger antenna or an amplifier to add to your current antenna. Good luck!

    2. J Peavey says:

This is most likely because of the FCC Broadcast TV “RePack” which is having over-the-air broadcasters shift their real broadcast frequencies closer together, to free up higher frequencies for new RF applications. There are several phases of this repacking effort, so at least once every 2 or 3 months, you will need to go into your tuner’s settings and perform a new channel scan to find your channels at their new frequencies. Even at the new frequencies, the displayed channel number should not change because of the way ATSC allows virtualized channel numbers.

      https://www.rabbitears.info/tvq.php?request=items&facid=19199

I looked up the repack information for WACH. On this technical info page, you can see the old frequency was UHF 22 and the new frequency is UHF 48. The license to use UHF 22 expired in September, so they had to vacate that frequency before that date. But according to the FCC records, 48 is the final home for the foreseeable future.

  36. Howard Eckstein says:

PSVue has put up a notice that they will stop broadcasting on Jan 30 2020. They are not accepting new subscribers and will only provide content to existing subscribers until Jan 30 2020. See www.psvue.com/updates for more information.

    1. Bosco says:

You have to log into your TV Service Provider, hence a subscription is still needed.

    2. Paul says:

Not free when I try to use it. After not many steps, I’m forced to login with my cable tv subscriber. Although I use comcast for internet access, I don’t have any cable tv package, and when I login with my comcast credentials I’m told that my service doesn’t include this.

  38. Mary Pfeiffer says:

Playstation Vue is discontinued Jan 30, 2020

  39. Valerie Grisham says:

Playstation Vue will be ending January 30 2020. Very disappointed!!!! It was my go to service for Fox! Appears we will be forced to Youtube TV.

  40. T Girton says:

MSM is totally corrupt, these people live in their own “snow-globe”, they echo the same message with fake news and fake outrage. If one of them fall out of line and attempt to report the truth they get attacked by the fake outrage groups – this gets scary. Our own press is failing the people and protecting our democracy. I fear for our children and the future of our country. Democrats are falling into the Russian and Chinese traps and destroying our “free-press”, they’re stirring up a lot of the online misinformation that feed the youth of our country thru message group: reddit, etc.

  41. Russell says:

you all could just go to walmart buy an inexpensive indoor antenna and be done with that I have Roku and an indoor antenna and all is good.

  42. Allan says:

Is there a way to stream Fox News live directly from Fox News without any provider? If not can you get it through Fox Nation or does Fox Nation offer recorded shows from Fox News?

    1. Pam says:

      Ustv.go

  43. Emily Bishop says:

If you know someone with Fox news and they give you their login and password, in theory you could log into their account using the Fox news app. My issue is, Roku is dropping all Fox apps after tonight (1/31/20) – does fire stick have a Fox News app?

    1. mark3:26 says:

Yes but when we cut Spectrum cable but kept the internet I could not get the live feed thru Firestick or Roku.
      Ours was TWC, now Spectrum.

  44. CRG2020 says:

It defeats the purpose of cutting the cable when you have to go subscribe and just out the money to another place. Rip offs. I just won’t watch any more.

  45. Brad says:

Fox Nation app has Fox News Live. $5.99 a month or $64 a year. It’s they cheapest legal way to get FN live along with a bunch of other programming and most of Fox’s programs VOD. The app is available with Fire TV, Roku, etc.

    1. Nicole P says:

Actually, subscribing to Fox Nation doesn’t allow you to watch live nor does it allow you to watch old episodes of their only good news show, Tucker Carlson. Source: paid for it yesterday, cancelled this morning.

  46. Curmudgen5 says:

Brad, On your comment, I added the Fox Nation channel to my Roku lineup. I clicked on “Live News” and was able to watch the news for 5 minutes then was cut off and asked to “sign in with your provider”. Thanks for nothing.

    1. Inga says:

Brad from your app page you can watch about 5 min of Fox News at a time. Click over to the big box That is to the right of the apps listed then click back to Fox News. I’ve been doing this for about a month. This is the only way to get it free that I know of yes it is a hassle but I get my fix of Fox

  47. JackT says:

Thanks Curmudgen5 for your comment. You saved me and a lot of other people from wasting their time heeding Brad bogus information. This thread, “How to Watch Fox News Without Cable” and talking about cutting the cord is click bait. They prey on people who want to cut their cable bill and then offer more expensive solutions than cable, and you need the cord to get to the Internet.

  48. Darren Boyd says:

Sling added FNC to their Blue plan a while back.

    https://www.sling.com/service

Not a bad deal for $30 plus applicable taxes for your region. It is pretty skinny though… no ESPN’s and such, but you can combine Blue and Orange for $45 plus taxes.

Vidgo is also out there for $40 plus taxes.

    https://www.vidgo.com/

Granted, you still need a way to get locals and the interfaces are lacking…

Set up a long range clearstream outdoor antenna in the attic (the funky figure 8 looking one with the dipole antennas sticking out of it) and an RCA preamp so I could feed the signal through in-house wiring to 2 other TV’s for a little over $100 bucks. Had to re-aim it a few times before I found the sweet spot for our area, but it has been solid for almost 2 years now for all our locals and even some not normally in our lineup through Spectrum.

I keep checking with standalone apps to see if Sling will synch up, but no luck yet for FNC… keep messaging them about working something out… who knows, maybe one day they will.

Also ask them for a standalone deal akin to Disney+. We really could get by with an a la carte FNC sub with just that and Hulu outside of Football season. Shame that both FNC and ESPN missed such a great opportunity with their “premium” subscription plans….

Pretty much the only thing we watch within the Sling app is FNC and a couple shows we track through their limited DVR. Have the $6 on-demand only Hulu plan for access to a lot of shows on the major networks that I can pull up after airing, so don’t really need a lot of DVR space.

For us, we are getting all we need outside of football for right at $40 this way (sling blue, Hulu on demand only, good antenna setup). If college football kicks off, might give Vidgo a trial for the ESPN/ACCN access at $40… otherwise, can do the full Sling deal for $45.

Either option would still keep things under $60 after taxes, which beats Spectrum’s standard broadcast package rates and gives a better lineup than their $30-40 skinny streaming options (they still stack FCC fees and such onto the cheaper streaming only options).

Now if we could just get a handle on the internet pricing…

ATT fiber expansion stopped just a few miles short of our neighborhood, so Spectrum still has a bit of a monopoly on actual broadband internet here.

  49. Art G says:

This is so stupid. This isn’t cord cutting in the slightest. The whole reason to give up cable/satellite service is because of the cost and look how much Hulu charges. Absolutely insane! I bought the Fox Nation service specifically so that I could stream FNC and come to find out I have to login to my TV service provider. I was so pissed! Well, I wasn’t going back to Hulu for love TV service, that’s forsure. Instead I have SlingTV a try and I’m still with them. Although, it’s not the greatest but better than Hulu for FNC at least. What really bothers me is the SlingTV commercials they insert over the cable commercials. They’re absolutely horrible! When the hell is Fox going to let us stream FNC with a Fox Nation subscription?!

  50. Joey says:

I just discovered this morning that the “delayed ” FNC clips, are no longer available on my Roku . Anyone know anything about this?

  51. Jonathan says:

if you don’t need the video you can always listen on sirius/xm with the streaming service. I pay 10.91 a month for this.

  52. Pat says:

    FOX NEWS

In response to the current pandemic, Fox has opened its pay wall allowing free access to its 24-hour news service. It’s available on a number of different streaming platforms.

Platforms: iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku

    Free TV services: Sling TV

  53. Bruce Frank says:

If you are having to pay for these services, in actually you are still P̲A̲Y̲I̲N̲G̲, which is likely why you want to cut-the-cable in the first place.

  54. Ben says:

You should update your article to include Sling. $30 per month includes FoxNews.

  55. Fantatv25 says:

Thanks for sharing such great information. Keep it up.

    1. Stephen Lovely says:

      Thanks for reading!

  56. Shanks Mare says:

I used to get Fox News on my DISH satellite plan (Welcome Pack, for which I am grand-mothered in). Then DISH cut it out. They gave it to us for free for several weeks during the earlier part of the Covid scare. Now they advertise that there is a News Pack available that includes Fox News, and it only costs $10, and that we can add to our existing plan. However, they don’t put it in their online advertising that it’s unavailable for anything but ‘newer’ (and more expensive) plans. I think Fox did a disservice to the voting public by not making Fox News available for the general public so that we’d have a different ‘take’ on the candidates. I want Fox News streaming whenever I want to look at it, which is most days. I miss the evening shows: Hannity, Laura, Tucker, and of course, The Five.

  57. Debbie says:

I cut the cable cord and can’t watch Fox news, so now I watch NewsMax, its great!!!!
And it’s a free app on my fire stick and Roku for live news tv.

  58. Patricia says:

    Yep!

  59. Ross says:

Got a Roku Streaming Stick + to cut the DISH. Looks like I fell for having to pay for what I want too. Gotta have the internet first, but don’t wanna pay for DISH too! Maybe I’ll get used to it.

  60. Bruce says:

The writer says CNN is seen as “more centrist.” By that metric Hitler, Lenin, Stalin and Mao were “more centrist.” Nice try dude.

  61. Greis Poupon says:

You can listen to Fox News Live on XM radio it is also available on phone computer and TV. I wish Fox would go off and sell subscriptions like Fox Nation, they would make a bundle, or if someone would offer a stand alone news option, but then ther rest of TV would Die and actors would no longer make a bundle for their meager acting abilities.

  62. Shelley Simich says:

Whats the point of cutting high cost cable and satellite and then having to pay streaming hubs $65 and up to watch Fox News? With the streaming hubs, I also need an antenna to get local programming?
