What is Frost Dragon?
This is the Naevehjem Baronial Anniversary tourney featuring a heavy weapons tournament and rapier, arts and intellectual endeavors, and many other diversions for your entertainment. The day is culminated by the arrival of the Frost Dragon, who can be battled by anyone brave enough to face his icy breath with nothing but a boffer and shield.

2010 Information
Frost Dragon Tourney
Warriors! One and all! Brave souls of Caid! The Frost Dragon has again threatened our lands and will descend upon us at the Anniversary for the Barony of Naevehjem! Come help us to once more vanquish him to hell's cold gate from whence he came.
The day's fighting events will take place on the green next to the Kerr-McGee Center, 100 W. California Ave., Ridgecrest, CA 93555 on Saturday, November 20, 2010. This is a dry site. There will be prize tourneys for heavy weapons and rapier - and of course, a special prize for the brave soul who slays the intrepid Frost Dragon. Contact the Event Steward to reserve near eric spaces for your Baronial/Shire/Merchant pavilions!
Schedule:
Site fees will be $7.00 for SCA members over 12 years of age; under that age will be free. Fees for non-SCA members will be $12.00 for all over 12 years of age. Make checks payable to: SCA Inc./Barony of Naevehjem.
Merchants
Merchants are welcome for the mere cost of the site fee. All merchant regulations will apply.
Feast
Come and enjoy a sumptuous feast prepared once again by THLs Liam and Magnus featuring delicacies from Frost Dragon Feasts in years gone by and requested by the good populace of Naevehjem. Bring out your best dessert recipe! A Dessert Contest will also be part of the evening festivities with prizes awarded for most period and Baron’s Favorite. The title of Confectioner to the Baron of Naevehjem will be awarded to the Baron’s choice of desserts. Feast fee shall be $17.00 and advance reservations for the feast are highly encouraged as space is limited. Please make reservations with the event steward. The feast will be held at the Knights of Columbus, 725 W. Ridgecrest Blvd, Ridgecrest CA 93555.

Directions to the Senior Center: From the West/North: Take CA Hwy 14 to CA 178 East (Inyokern/Ridgecrest Turn off). Continue East until you must turn right on China Lake Blvd. Take China Lake Blvd south and turn right on Ridgecrest Blvd.. Turn Left on S. Warner St. The parking lot will be on your right, and the tourney field will be on your left, across from the parking area.
From the East/South: Take Interstate 15 to US Hwy 395 north and turn east at the first Ridgecrest exit (China Lake Blvd.). Follow China Lake Blvd to Ridgecrest Blvd. Turn left onto Ridgecrest Blvd. Turn Left on S. Warner St. The parking lot will be on your right, and the tourney field will be on your left, across from the parking area.

Archery Championship Sunday November 21st
The Archers of Naevehjem will host a shoot for the BARONIAL ARCHERY CHAMPION and fun on at Baldwin Keep, 3750 W. Drummond Dr., Ridgecrest, CA 93555 (maps will be available). There will be assorted novelty shoots as well as the Baronial Championship, which will be a Forester Round. There is no site fee, but donations will be gladly accepted. Crossbows are welcome and will have their own category.
